The newly purchased micro tomography imaging system for small animals by the institute has been installed in the biosafety laboratory, and technical training for this equipment will be held in the near future. The training includes theoretical and practical training, totaling three days. 

1. Training arrangement: 

a. Theoretical training: Half day, free to register. 

b. Practical training: Due to the complexity of scanning operations and subsequent software reconstruction, the entire process of practical training takes 2.5 days. To ensure the quality of the training, there are only 2 spots for the practical part of this training. Applicants for practical training should have a need to conduct Micro-CT related experiments in the near future and assist the Laboratory Animal Facility in teaching new users when convenient in the future. 

2. Registration method: 

Interested experimenters can send registration emails to this email address (animal_center@siii.cas.cn) before 9:00 on August 28, 2023, the format is: research group+name+theoretical training/practical training. 

The specific training time and location will be notified separately based on the registration situation.
