The newly purchased microfluidic nanoparticle formulation system (NanoAssembly Spark) can prepare various types of nanoparticles such as lipid nanoparticles (LNP), liposomes, and polymers by mixing the aqueous and organic phases. This device uses microfluidic methods to promote the thorough and uniform mixing of water and organic phases under laminar flow conditions, and self-assembles into nanoparticles with excellent key quality attributes. It can be used for nucleic acid encapsulation, in vitro and in vivo delivery of mRNA, DNA, siRNA and other nucleic acids, and for research on related nucleic acid drugs.
