On the morning of September 21, Mr. LIU Xiwen, Director of National Science Library (NSL) of CAS, and Prof. WANG Sijia, Deputy Director of Shanghai Institute of Nutrition and Health (SINH) of CAS led the delegations visited Shanghai Institute of Immunity and Infection (SIII) of CAS. Prof. JIANG Lubin, Deputy Director of SIII, Mrs. ZHANG Fan, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Committee of SIII, and representatives of the administrative divisions attended the meeting.

On behalf of the institute, Prof. JIANG Lubin welcomed warmly the delegations. The three parties introduced their institutions respectively, and carried out in-depth discussions focusing on importance of literature and information to support major scientific and technological decision-making management, S&T innovation activities as well as first-class S&T talent resources etc. Meanwhile, the three parties signed a strategic cooperation agreement.

Mrs. ZHANG Fan presided over the meeting and the signing ceremony. In the meeting, Dr. LIU Dongping, Director of Division of S&T Development and Cooperation at SIII, and Mrs. SHEN Dongjing, Director of Library and Literature Department of Shanghai Information Center for Life Sciences at SINH introduced the basic information in detail.
