On February 1, SIII hosted 2024 Annual Awards Ceremony and New Year Gala in order to celebrate the achievements in the past year and express the vigorous spirit for the future. All SIIIers including the Leadership gathered together to welcome the Chinese New Year and share their thoughts and feelings.
At the ceremony, the SIII’s Leadership and the heads of relevant committees presented honorary certificates to the outstanding employees and departments.
The Gala opened with the annual video "Walking towards the Light" and reviewed the important activities of the institute in 2023. Then the employees and graduate students performed more than ten wonderful programmes including songs, skits, talk shows, dances, guitar playing and chorus.
The event concluded with laughter and happiness, and the Institute is looking forward to a new year with confidence.
