    Research Direction

Our laboratory focuses on important bacterial pathogens, such as Salmonella and Klebsiella. By developing and utilizing novel high-throughput RNA sequencing approaches, we aim to globally profile the RNA transcriptomes and interactomes of bacteria under various physiological and pathological conditions, and identify novel non-coding small RNAs and their regulatory functions during bacterial infections. These studies will further deepen our understanding of the molecular mechanisms of gene expression regulation in host-bacteria interactions, and provide new strategies for the development of new antibacterial drugs and vaccines.
